Historical tour of the emblematic Moorish quarter of the Albaicín
The Albaicín neighborhood, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, still preserves all the magic of its Moorish past.
The Albaicín was the court of the Zirid monarchs in the 11th century, considered the last Muslim stronghold before the Moors were expelled from Granada.
Our personalized tours take our customers to this universal era, showing corners, labyrinth of streets, emblematic places… of the Muslim footprint present in our city.
You are in good hands!
Making a stop at the Convent of Santa Isabel la Real, adjacent to the Palace of Dar al-Horra, residence of Boabdil’s mother, Aixa, we will finish the visit in the lower Albaicín, Calderería and its famous Arab tea shops, a perfect place to enjoy a delicious Moorish tea.
Our tours are adapted to the tastes and needs of the client, since our guides are committed to a close and professional personal treatment.
Our guided tours are organized in two shifts, morning and afternoon. Exceptionally, if the client hires the tour in the morning, it may be changed to the afternoon shift, if the agency communicates this change in advance and in person.
